The SMCCC Foundation staff is dedicated to raising funds that will help students and potential students realize their academic and career dreams.
Megan Barber Allende
Executive Director
Megan brings nearly two decades of foundation leadership to the District. She’s passionate about expanding scholarships for underrepresented students, providing support for District initiatives, and building lasting philanthropic impact. Megan holds degrees from the University of Michigan and UNC Charlotte, plus a CAP® certification in planned giving.
Karen Chadwick
Donor Relations Manager
Karen Chadwick has served the San Mateo County Community College District since 1997, holding financial aid and scholarship roles at Skyline College and College of San Mateo before joining the San Mateo County Community Colleges Foundation in 2022. As Donor Relations Manager, she stewards donor relationships and builds transparent, high‑impact scholarship opportunities that support student success. An alum of both CSM and Skyline, she holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from San Francisco State University and serves on the MANA Learning Community, EOPS, and Project Change advisory boards.
Analisa Pineda
Business Manager
Analisa is a finance and operations professional with experience across the private sector, nonprofits, and foundations. An alumna of College of San Mateo, she advanced from student assistant to Senior Buyer, overseeing districtwide procurement and financial compliance. She now serves as Foundation Business Manager, providing financial and operational leadership with strong internal controls and resource stewardship. Analisa holds an Associate in Business Administration from CSM, a B.S. in Public Service and Public Policy from Arizona State University, and is pursuing a Master of Public Administration
Milagros Yoch
Marketing Manager
Mila is a strategic communicator focused on storytelling, digital engagement, and public relations. She’s led social media campaigns at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation and Inovia Foundation, and now drives communications that foster trust and inspire giving at SMCCCF. A Gonzaga alumna from San Mateo County, she combines tech savvy with heart.
Sangita Tamang
Accounting Technician
Sangita Tamang is an accounting professional with experience in public accounting, small business, and higher education. An alumna of the College of San Mateo, she transferred to San José State University, earning her bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2021, and is now pursuing an MBA. She works part‑time with the San Mateo County Community Colleges Foundation and the District Office as an Accounting Technician and is known for her attention to detail, adaptability, and thoughtful approach to her work.
