College of San Mateo Centennial
In March 1922, what is today the San Mateo County Community College District was born. What started as a humble junior college with a student body of just 35, has grown into three renowned colleges, College of San Mateo, Cañada College, and Skyline College, that have served millions of learners of all ages over the last 100 years. Starting with a Gala on March 31, 2022, the CSM and District communities have come together to celebrate this once-in-a-century achievement.

Rise in Revolution: A Social Justice Conference | College of San Mateo | April 25-29, 2022
A student-led conference sharing knowledge, skills, and resources around the topics of climate justice, health and disability justice, and the prison industrial complex. The event closed with a celebration including art, food, and performances.
An Evening of Art, Science, Music, and Dance | College of San Mateo Theatre | May 6, 2022
Participants learned about the stars, listened to live music, watch enthralling dance performances, and heard CSM Professor Mohsen Janatpour discuss when a painting is finished.
Skyline College President’s Breakfast | Skyline College Farallon Room | April 14,

For the last 21 years, Skyline College’s President’s Breakfast has helped raise funds for programs and scholarships at Skyline College. This year’s event included both a virtual and an in-person option in the beautiful Farallon Room. Funds were raised for Skyline College’s Promise Scholars Program and President’s Innovation Fund. Cañada College President’s Luncheon | Virtual Event | November 2, 2021
The Fourth Annual Cañada College President’s Luncheon took place entirely on Zoom due to the COVID-19 fall/winter surge. The event, which raised funds for students’ basic needs, can be viewed in its entirety on YouTube.
