2019 Send Students to the Cannes Film Festival
For the third consecutive time, students from Cañada College's Digital Art and Animation program have been invited to show their films at the Cannes Film Festival in France. This year, Veronica Plante and Katie Burke will be screening their films at one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world. Both students will have the opportunity to participate in workshops and forums to further their filmmaking skills.
About their films:
The Story, by Veronica Plante, is a tale of two sisters and how a disappointment can turn into
the best experience one ever has.
Last Train, by Katie Burke, is about a late-night commuter who ends up on a subway with some
very unusual companions.
Please help support travel expenses for our students to attend the Cannes Film Festival.
