In Memory of Janice M. Evans Willis

 

 

Janice M. Willis began her career at College of San Mateo (CSM) as a faculty member in the business division in 1977 and subsequently became Interim Dean of Business / Creative Arts. She was also an early creator of business online courses. Near her second retirement in 2022, in memory of her many years of dedicated service, her daughter, husband, colleagues, and friends at the college established the Janice M. Willis Endowment. This fund is for two scholarships for students at CSM and one scholarship at Cañada College. One CSM scholarship is for a student completing their first year, majoring in business, with at least a 3.0 GPA. The second scholarship is for a student graduating from CSM, majoring or minoring in business, with at least a 3.0 GPA. The third scholarship is for a mature student returning to Cañada College to complete their nursing degree.
